2026 NYC EIP Policy Series trainings Schedule

Please complete this form to register for the New York City Health Department’s Bureau of Early Intervention (NYC BEI) and Hunter College’s Silberman School of Social Work’s 2026 Early Intervention Service Coordination Professional Development Institute (SCPDI).

Policy Series Trainings (2026): SCPDI will offer seven NYC EIP Policy Series trainings.
All seven trainings are mandatory for SC supervisors and must be completed by December 31, 2026.
What’s new: Five Policy Series trainings were updated, and two trainings are new in 2026: MDE/Screenings and Transition.
If you received a certificate for any of the five previously offered trainings in 2025, you do not need to take that training again in 2026.
Attendance requirement: Synchronous participation is required.
Recorded sessions do not issue certificates of completion.
Credits: NYC BEI is an approved provider of continuing education units for specific disciplines by the NYS Education Department and the Office of Professions.
- CEUs are offered only to licensed LCSWs/LMSWs, physical therapists, PTAs, occupational therapists, OTAs, speech-language pathologists, CFs, and audiologists.
- CTLEs are offered only to certified New York State teachers, teachers with an educational leadership certificate, or paraprofessionals with a Level III teaching assistant certificate.
- Trainings scheduled 9:00–5:00 offer 7.5 credit hours; trainings scheduled 9:00–1:00 offer 4 credit hours.
